Kyle Richardson

Kyle has a passion for breakdancing and after being taught the foundations, he studied hard making him the breakdancer he is today. Kyle has made numerous TV appearances and reached the final of Britain’s Got Talent with his group Flava. Kyle has subsequently traveled to the Philippines, L.A., Abu Dhabi, Germany and all over Europe with Flava, and as an individual has worked as a backing dancer and aerialist for Take That on their Progress tour. 


Matt Parro

Matt Parro is a professional close up magician, delivering fresh, cool and stunning magic to audiences worldwide. Matt’s magic career began at the age of 18 and he is now a multi-award winning magician with over 1 million hits on YouTube. 

    “I feel so passionately about magic because there is nothing quite like being a magician! My job is to meet and amaze people, it’s great!”

Matt is passionate about the benefits magic can have on individuals, believing that performing magic can be a great confidence booster, conversation starter and ice breaker. Matt also believes that iDEA is a great platform for learning new skills, and is excited that it offers a fresh, unique method to do so. 

Matt’s hobbies include football and watching action films. His ambition is one day to have his own TV series.


ZAK OWEN

As a professional juggler Zak has spent most of his life progressing in many skills within the circus field. He grew up along side the circus troop his father performed in, and has always had a love of learning new skills. Whilst growing up he met many amazing people with incredible talents which inspired him to push himself to learn many different skills.

Zak has been able to use his skills to travel within a professional capacity and has run workshops at many events and festivals teaching a whole array of circus skills.

“The iDEA activities are going to allow more people to have the opportunity to learn a new skill in a variety of areas of their choice. Theses skills will allow people to be more creative and help with fitness both mentally and physically…”

Most of his spare time is spent practicing and improving the skills he has, as well as trying to learn new things. Zac also loves participating in many extreme sports like kite surfing, skating, motorbike racing.

Zak traveled a lot when I was a child but now recognises Brighton as his hometown. He also loves spending time in Portugal a place he spent many years in as a child.

Jo Mondy

Since moving to the UK in 2010, Jo has built a strong and vibrant local hoop community in Brighton and has taught hundreds of students how to get into the spin. She also runs a successful hoop teacher training program inspiring hoopers from the UK and Europe to set up their own hoop businesses.

She is at the forefront of the UK and international hoop scene, teaching at Hoop Camp Retreat California, UK Hoop Gathering, German Hoop Convention, Swiss Hoop Convention, Spanish Hoop Holiday, Manchester Hoop Congress and other specialised workshops around the country. Jo is also an established performer, who has entertained crowds in the UK, Australia, US and Europe at festivals, clubs, weddings, corporate events and private parties.


LIAM Richards

Liam achieved black belt at the age of 10 years old and was hungry to learn more. Liam contributes Martial Arts to developing his character and empowering to overcome obstacles such as all the bullying he experienced at school. He went on to compete in over 200 competitions from age 8-18 all over the world winning many British, European and World titles on the England Team. In 2005, he was invited to be part of the UK XMA Team and was coached by the Blue Power Ranger, Mike Chat. They performed all over the world, touring with Jean Claude Van Damme.

In 2007, Liam created and launched Excel Martial Arts, and in 2008 along with his friend Danny, they kicked and flipped their way to the Final of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent as ‘Strike’ with 15 million viewers. They subsequently toured 22 large venues over the UK including the O2 arena in front of 15,000 people, and all over the world.


HARRY COATES

As a qualified personal trainer, spin bike instructor and trainer for Brighton Rugby Club, Harry feels passionately about fitness and he feels it helps to change lives for the better and gives a huge sense of wellbeing.

“The iDEA project will help thousands of children become active, understand and enjoy exercise. Too many young children today are more interested in their iPhone or games console to go outside and exercise. So by making it fun, and creating a comfortable environment in which to do it, it should change their perception of exercise altogether!”

Harry’s ambitions include setting up and run his own gym in the future. Hailing from Brighton Harry’s spends his spare time keeping fit, playing sports and practicing his guitar.
